Casio watches use buttons to navigate between different modes and functionalities. There isn’t a universal way to use the stopwatch function because different Casio watch models have slightly different button configurations. However, the general steps are similar:
Entering Stopwatch Mode: You’ll need to press a specific button combination to enter the stopwatch mode. It’s typically the “Mode” button, but consult your watch manual if you’re unsure. Commonly, pressing “Mode” once might switch to the alarm, and a second press would take you to the stopwatch.
Starting and Stopping the Stopwatch: Once you’re in stopwatch mode, there will be a button designated to start and stop the timer. This is usually the lower right button on the watch. A single press starts the stopwatch, and another press stops it.
Resetting the Stopwatch: Casio watches typically use a different button to reset the stopwatch to zero. This button might be labeled “Adjust” or have a smaller “R” marking. You’ll press this button after stopping the stopwatch to clear the elapsed time.
Using Lap Times (Optional): Many Casio watches allow you to record lap times during stopwatch use. The button for this function might be the upper left button, sometimes labeled “Light” or having a split time symbol. While the stopwatch is running, pressing this button records a split time and continues running the main timer. You can press it again to record additional lap times.
